Filipino Masons of Greater Seattle

Association of Regular Maharlika Freemasons Residing in Washington State, USA
Est. 5995, Incorporated 1996, Renamed 2005

FILMAGS is the acronym for The Filipino Masons of Greater Seattle.  FILMAGS is NOT a “Masonic lodge”; its meetings are not “tyled”.  It is a generic “square and compasses” socio-ethnic group. History of Filmags

FILMAGS is as average as any other Filipino association in the Puget Sound area, but with one major distinction. All members must be a member “in good standing” of a Masonic Lodge that is “recognized” by the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Washington.  Some members belong to other recognized Masonic jurisdictions.

It used to be known as the Filipino Masonic of Greater Seattle.  In 2005, the adjective “Masonic” was replaced with the noun “Masons”, which more aptly describes the composition of this organization. See Document.
